Better Ears Beginnger

A great app for iOS devices that contains 10 basic exercises to teach the basics of music theory. There is also a paid version that goes further into the subject.

eMusicTheory

Online music theory assignment, drill, and learning program. There are free drills and lessons as well as a paid system that allows teachers to create classes, assign drills, and guide students through theory lessons. Very affordable.

Timetoast A great flash based timeline program. Has a free account option. Very easy to use! Can add descriptions to events and even add in links or pictures
